Project 'Rural Entrepreneurs in Chile'

We met rural entrepreneurs in Chile who, with their ideas, dedication and love for their country, breathe life into the local economy. We talked with them about a wide range of topics such as the challenges they face, advice they can give to fellow entrepreneurs, if climate change affects them and generally how life has changed in times of rapid economic development in rural areas. Within the scope of the project we built them their own websites and taught them the basics of online marketing, which will give them a head start to use the internet for the success of their companies.

By spreading the word about their micro companies in the online community of Chilean social enterprise Mi Huerto Web we give them direct visibility to a relevant audience. Among the followers of Mi Huerto Web we constantly engage in a debate about sustainable and inclusive development in rural areas of rapidly changing countries. Not a follower yet? Go to…
