The small French town Menton lies between the borders of Monaco and Italy. It is also called the 'Pearl of the Côte d'Azur' because of its colourful houses, which are perched between the turquoise waters of the mediterranean sea and the high cliffs of the Alpes-Maritimes.
Our apartment is located right on the beach and 50 meters from the old town of Menton with its numerous gelaterias, restaurants, bars and shops.
Beyond doubt, the first thing that will impress you is the beautiful garden and courtyard.

The apartment is located in a former luxury hotel and stylish 19th century building surrounded by palm trees.

Recently renovated, the apartment combines past splendour such as high ceilings and huge windows with practicalities of modern amenities.
You will love the spacious kitchen, which is fully equipped with big fridge, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dish washer and everything you need.

Sleep comfortably in this Queen Size bed with prime mattress and lots of storage space for your clothes and other belongings.
The apartment stands out as a luminous and quiet retreat with high ornamented ceilings that invoke the feeling of past French grandeur.
The couch can be transformed easily into a bed, which sleeps two persons comfortably.
Air conditioning provides relief from the midday heat and guarantees a good sleep during the warm summer nights of the Côte d'Azur.
The spacious and modern bathroom will be just perfect for you.
This historic elevator is a truly special reminder of the history of this building...
...this building, which has been right on the splendid Promenade du Soleil and beach of Menton since the late 19th century...
... until today. This video shows the apartment from the bird's eye perspective (Credits to Kevin MacLeod for the video).
Wake up in the morning and stroll to the old market, which is merely 100 meters away.
Here you can buy everything for a real French breakfast: fromages, patés, baguettes, croissants, pains au chocolat and more ... bon appétit.
You will also find delicious local vegetables/fruits and of course the culinary specialities of this region, which combines the very best that Italy and France have to offer.
You are right at the coast and will be able to enjoy fresh fish anytime you want.
Visit the old town with its narrow streets, plazas, churches and excellent restaurants. And don't miss out on the colosseums of the historic cemetery, which is the resting place of many nobles who came to the fortified town for holidays since the19th century and from as far away as Russia.
Go hiking in the mountains behind the town of Menton and visit ancient villages, fortresses or 20th century bunkers that render this beautiful region truly unique.
Menton is also the perfect base to visit Monaco or Italy, which are about 10 km away.
